Meet The Team
Harry Friedman has been in the entertainment industry since 1977. He has owned and managed production, post production, and equipment concerns in New York, Los Angeles, and Texas. These ventures have created programming for all major networks, including the television program “Rome” on HBO, and many other theatrical and made-for-TV features. Friedman has been also been involved in funding and developing numerous tech ventures.
Nick Tangborn is a 20-year veteran of digital media. He was Editor-in-Chief of Listen.com, which became Rhapsody. He founded the Jackpine Social Club record label, held management positions at BitTorrent and CNET, and consulted for the original Napster. In a multi-year diversion, he was COO of Batter Blaster, the aerosol pancake & waffle batter in a can. Tangborn and Batter Blaster hold the Guinness World Record for most pancakes made and served in eight hours (76,832).
Colette Sandstedt is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker who has worked in entertainment and technology for 20+ years. As a marketing executive, she has helped define and explain brand-new industries such as online music and web-based payments. As a documentary filmmaker, her work has screened in festivals worldwide and can be seen on Discovery Network, History, National Geographic, Red Bull Media, and The New York Times.
Director of Operations
Mark Tullos has been in the video production and post production industry for 13 years. He has managed production and equipment rental services at NewCinema, Gear Rental, IMC, and 501 Post. Prior to this, he spent 10 years in the consumer electronics field and six years in network and server administration.
VP of Otter Labs
Todd Bryant brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience in video, video streaming, information technologies, and cloud architecture to Otter Network. As Vice President of Otter Labs, Mr. Bryant oversees the architecture and implementation of software systems design, support, research and development and cloud deployment, as well as the design and development of unique video applications that will define Otter Network as a leader in the video platform solutions market.
Cindi Ellis has held marketing and advertising roles for more than 30 years in a diverse set of pre-eminent Fortune 500 B2B & B2C corporate brands including IBM and American Airlines as well as in various industry startups.
VP of Enterprise Sales
Tim Regan is a music industry veteran and a partner at Nine Mile, which includes Nine Mile Records, Nine Mile Touring, and Nine Mile Publicity. For 20+ years, Tim has handled marketing, strategy, sales, management, and communications for some of the most respected artists and bands in the country. With a demonstrated history of entrepreneurship and unending curiosity, Tim combines his lifelong passion for creating with a proven ability to bring leading-edge ideas to life. As a musician, he has toured internationally and recorded over 40 albums.
Richard Yuricich is a three-time Academy Award-nominated special visual effects artist, a director, and a cinematographer. He is known for his work on BLADE RUNNER, STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. He was visual effects consultant on James Cameron’s THE ABYSS for 20th Century Fox. Richard has also directed and photographed commercials and co-founded the Marina del Rey based Entertainment Effects Group.
Joe Gillespie is a top-performing CEO in media, mobile and marketing technology, and is founder of the consulting company Digital G. He formerly served as CEO & President of Zoove, Executive Vice President/GM of CBS Interactive, Executive Vice President of CNET Networks, and CEO & COO of TechTV.
Steve Katelman served as EVP of Global Strategic Partnerships for Omnicom Media Group, where he was responsible for ensuring the OMG agencies had unparalleled exposure and insight with their largest global digital vendors. Starting with Omnicom in 1996, Steve oversaw digital strategies and investments for many of Omnicom’s clients; launched OMG’s trading desk, Accuen, in 2008; and was instrumental in the 2010 launch of Annalect, Omnicom’s Data and Analytics practice. ADWEEK named him as one of the “Top 50 Execs Who Make the Wheels Turn” and included him in the “12 Stars of Adtech.” Steve currently advises adtech companies and works with the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau).
Matt Naylor and David Rice are co-founders of Flow Nonfiction, a Clio-winning multimedia content studio that creates curated brand-commissioned projects. Matt has directed series for Netflix, Hulu, MSNBC, and Prime, and his work has won awards at SXSW, Munich, and Cinequest. Matt also wrote the screenplay for ALONE, starring Donald Sutherland and released by Lionsgate. David is co-creator/Executive Producer of Netflix/MSNBC’s Wounded: The Battle Back Home and Hulu’s Small Business Revolution, as well as Creator of Clubhouse: Music up Close.
