Sharing America's Film Heritage with a Wider Audience

The National Film Preservation Foundation is the nonprofit organization created by the U.S. Congress to help save America's film heritage. Working with the Library of Congress, the NFPF supports activities nationwide that preserve American films and improve film access for study, education, and exhibition.

The Otter Advantage

Netflix-style experience, ease of use, cost-effective

The Challenge

NFPF’s treasure trove of film was known by film buffs, educators and researchers, but they needed a way to reach a broader audience in a way they were used to on popular streaming platforms.

The Approach

Create a platform with Teleport that enables the NFPF brand to appeal to a newer audience and beautifully showcases the vast of amount of America’s film heritage in a way that entices mainstream audiences in a “Netflix-like” approach to the website.

The Result

The NFPF Teleport instance now features the films in one centralized location by category, so viewers can browse & access films free of charge. NFPF can  now also  track site data that provides insights into visitor interests to use in their communication efforts.
